“Sir, we mix stone powder in the cement... that’s why we call it natural stone tile.”
Yes — that’s the actual explanation a vendor gave to a client this week.
By the time the client reached out to us, the damage was already done.
His name is Deepak.
He paid lakhs in advance, thinking he was getting genuine natural stone cladding for his dream project.
Instead, he got:
🔻 Moulded cement
🔻 Mixed with a bit of stone dust
🔻 Painted in earthy tones to look natural
Now, with paint fading and cracks showing, the seller simply points to the bill:
> “It says natural stone tile. That’s our formulation. We delivered what was written.”
Let that sink in.
🎯 They mixed stone powder in cement…
🎯 Painted it in earthy tones…
🎯 Called it “natural stone tile”…
🎯 Took the payment upfront…
🎯 And now the customer is left with fake material, zero support, and no recourse.
This is happening too often — and it’s affecting honest professionals, clients, and the entire reputation of our industry.
So here’s my truth:
✔️ At Cobble Stone Pvt. Ltd., we don't deal in “formulations.”
✔️ We sell real natural stone — formed over centuries, not in buckets.
✔️ What we promise is what we deliver — and we stand by it, years later.
So I’m starting a new series:
🎯 #KnowYourStone — a practical guide for anyone building premium spaces, to help you avoid being misled and make smarter choices.
If you're building your dream home, a hotel, a café, a farmhouse — this is for you.
Let’s build with truth, not painted promises.
